Published Date: 1/21/2025

Notice

Summary

The FMCSA got requests from nine people who are hard of hearing or deaf, asking to be allowed to drive big trucks across state lines without meeting the usual hearing rules. If approved, these folks can hit the road legally and safely, showing that hearing isn’t the only way to be a great driver. This could open doors for more drivers and keep our highways moving smoothly.
