A321-253NY Added to AD

The FAA updated the Airworthiness Directive (AD) and added the Airbus Model A321-253NY to the list of affected airplanes. If you operate or maintain that airplane model, it now must follow the same safety checks and actions required by AD 2023-09-01.

Inspections, Replacements, and Installation Ban

The AD continues to require a one-time detailed inspection of each affected overheat detection system sensing element at certain positions, replacement of parts if needed, and it prohibits installing affected parts at those positions. These requirements are the same actions required under AD 2023-09-01.
