Designated persons’ U.S. assets frozen
The Department of State published names of persons added to the Treasury Department’s List of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons (the SDN List). All property and interests in property of those persons that are subject to U.S. jurisdiction are blocked.
U.S. persons barred from transactions
U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with the people added to the SDN List by the Department of State. The notice makes doing business with those listed individuals or entities forbidden under U.S. jurisdiction.
