Designated Persons' U.S. Assets Frozen
The Department of State added one or more people to the Treasury Department’s Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) List administered by OFAC. All property and interests in property of those persons that are subject to U.S. jurisdiction are blocked, effective immediately.
U.S. Persons Barred From Transactions
U.S. persons are generally prohibited from engaging in transactions with the individuals added to the SDN List. This prohibition takes effect immediately and means Americans and U.S. businesses may not do business with those designated.
