State Water Quality Certifications Required

Mountain Valley must submit copies of each request and either the certifying agency's decision or evidence of waiver to the Commission.

Commenting and Intervention Deadline

You can file comments, protests, or a motion to intervene in the Mountain Valley Pipeline proceeding with no fee. The deadline to file a motion to intervene or submit comments or protests is 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on March 11, 2025; filing comments alone does not make you a party, and only intervenors can seek rehearing or later challenge Commission orders.

Environmental Review Timing and Notices

Within 90 days of this notice, Commission staff will either complete the environmental review and place it in the public record or issue a Notice of Schedule for Environmental Review. If a Notice of Schedule is issued, it will identify the anticipated date for the final environmental impact statement or environmental assessment, and federal authorizations must be completed within 90 days after issuance of the FEIS or EA.
