New Organizations Joined MSTIC

On January 10, 2025, Maritime Sustainment Technology and Innovation Consortium (MSTIC) added multiple organizations as parties to its venture, including Amaero Advanced Materials and Manufacturing, Inc.; Arctech Charge LLC; Authentise, Inc.; Carnegie Mellon University; Cenith Innovations LLC; and others listed in the notice. If you represent one of these named organizations, your organization is now listed as a party to MSTIC.

Antitrust Recovery Limited for MSTIC Parties

MSTIC filed the January 10, 2025 notification under the National Cooperative Research and Production Act of 1993 (15 U.S.C. 4301 et seq.) to extend the Act’s provisions that limit antitrust plaintiffs’ recovery to actual damages under specified circumstances for parties to this venture. That means parties to MSTIC may be able to limit antitrust liability to actual damages rather than larger recoveries when the Act’s conditions apply.
