Closed Meetings Protect Applicant Privacy

The NIH Center for Scientific Review is holding meetings closed to the public under 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(4) and 552b(c)(6) to protect confidential trade secrets, patentable material, commercial property, and personal information in grant applications. That means discussions of grant applications will not be public so applicants' private and proprietary information is shielded.

NIH Grant Review Meetings Scheduled

The Center for Scientific Review will hold virtual meetings to review and evaluate grant applications on multiple dates between April 3, 2025 and May 9, 2025 (for example April 3, 4, 7, 9, 15-16, 17-18, 21-22, 24, 28-30, and May 8-9). Scientists and applicants should note these specific meeting dates if their applications are under review.

Small Business Panel Review on April 17

A Center for Scientific Review Special Emphasis Panel titled 'Small Business: Instrumentation, Environmental, and Occupational Safety' will meet virtually on April 17, 2025 to review and evaluate grant applications. Small business applicants in these topics should note this date for their application review timeline.
