Security Clearances Suspended for Jenner Staff
The Attorney General, the Director of National Intelligence, and other agency heads must immediately take steps to suspend any active security clearances held by individuals at Jenner & Block pending a review of whether those clearances are consistent with the national interest. This action was ordered on March 25, 2025 and is to begin immediately.
Government Resources Cut Off to Jenner
The Office of Management and Budget must identify government goods, property, material, and services provided for the benefit of Jenner & Block, including Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities, and agency heads shall, to the extent permitted by law, expeditiously cease providing such material or services. The order directs these actions to begin immediately on March 25, 2025.
Federal Contracting Disclosure and Reviews
Government contracting agencies must, to the extent permitted by law, require contractors to disclose any business they do with Jenner & Block and whether that business is related to the subject of the government contract. Agency heads must review contracts with Jenner or with entities that disclose doing business with Jenner and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, take appropriate steps to terminate such contracts; agencies must submit an assessment within 30 days of March 25, 2025.
Federal Hiring and Access Limits for Jenner Staff
Heads of agencies shall, to the extent permitted by law, limit official access from federal buildings to employees of Jenner & Block and provide guidance limiting government employees from engaging with Jenner staff. Agencies are also to refrain from hiring Jenner employees without a waiver from the head of the agency, made in consultation with the Director of the Office of Personnel Management; these measures begin immediately as of March 25, 2025.
