Large gas storage expansion in Texas
Golden Triangle Storage proposes the Spindletop Expansion in Jefferson County, Texas that would add four new salt-dome storage caverns and well pads, ten 5,500-horsepower gas-fired compressor units, 30.75 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of working gas capacity, 24.2 Bcf of base gas capacity, and increase injection/withdrawal capability by 1,000 million cubic feet per day.

Commission environmental review timeline
Pursuant to 18 CFR 157.9, within 90 days of this Notice the Commission staff will either complete its environmental review and place it in the public record or issue a Notice of Schedule for Environmental Review that will include anticipated dates for a final environmental impact statement (FEIS) or environmental assessment (EA). The filing of an EA or issuance of a Schedule will notify federal and state agencies of the timing and the need to complete all federal authorizations within 90 days of issuance of the Commission staff's FEIS or EA.
