Analyzed Economic Effects
2 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 1 costs, 0 mixed.
Optional FPGA Delivery for ISE Depth Feed
If you use Nasdaq ISE's Depth of Market data feed, the Exchange will offer FPGA (field-programmable gate array) technology as an optional delivery mechanism starting June 1, 2025. FPGA reduces 'jitter' to make data delivery more predictable (more deterministic), but the filing states it does not guarantee lower latency. The Exchange also says customers who do not buy the FPGA option will receive the same data as those who do, and the offering will be available on a non-discriminatory basis.
Fee Schedule To Be Filed Separately
The Exchange will submit a proposed fee schedule for the FPGA product in a separate filing. That means Nasdaq ISE customers may face new fees if they choose the FPGA delivery option.
