Seven-Year Export Ban for Perez

Osmani Valdivia Perez is denied all U.S. export privileges for seven years from his conviction date, effective from the date of this Order through May 19, 2030. During this period Perez may not apply for, obtain, or use any license, license exception, or export control document for items subject to the Export Administration Regulations.

Revocation of Perez's BIS Licenses

Any Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) licenses or authorizations in which Perez had an interest at the time of his conviction are revoked. Those revoked authorizations cannot be used by Perez while the denial order remains in effect through May 19, 2030.

Related Parties May Be Made Subject

The Order states that other persons, firms, corporations, or business organizations related to Perez by ownership, control, position, affiliation, or other connection may also be made subject to the Order to prevent evasion. BIS may extend the Order's provisions to related entities to stop attempts to circumvent the denial.

Prohibition on Third Parties Dealing With Perez

The Order bars any person or entity from exporting, reexporting, transferring, financing, facilitating acquisition by, or servicing items subject to the Regulations on behalf of Perez. These prohibitions apply to actions taken directly or indirectly for or on behalf of the Denied Person while the Order is in effect through May 19, 2030.
