Temporary 20% Discount on Historical Data

Cboe is offering a temporary 20% discount on ad-hoc purchases of historical Open-Close Data (End-of-Day or Intraday) for any single order that totals $20,000 or more. The program runs from April 23, 2025 through June 30, 2025 and applies to Trading Permit Holders and non-Trading Permit Holders.

Order-Level $20,000 Threshold Requirement

The 20% discount applies only to any single ad-hoc order that totals $20,000 or more; Cboe will not aggregate purchases across a billing cycle to meet the $20,000 minimum. For example, multiple smaller orders made over time will not be combined to qualify for the discount.

No Stacking with Other Discounts

The 20% discount cannot be combined with any other discounts offered by the Exchange, including the academic discount for Qualifying Academic Purchasers. Purchasers receiving another discount must choose between that discount and this temporary 20% incentive.

Discount Covers Both EOD and Intraday Historical Files

The temporary 20% discount applies to ad-hoc purchases of both End-of-Day (EOD) and Intraday historical Open-Close Data when a single order meets the $20,000 threshold. Intraday snapshots are produced every 10 minutes and EOD files are end-of-day summaries; both product types are eligible for the discount if purchased ad-hoc and meet the minimum.

Discount Applies Only to Ad-Hoc Purchases

The 20% incentive applies only to ad-hoc historical Open-Close Data purchases (orders for specified months) and is not described as applying to monthly or annual subscriptions. Buyers who use subscriptions rather than ad-hoc orders should not expect this temporary discount to apply to their subscription charges.
