No big costs or deadlines yet, but your feedback will help shape a smoother, faster way to manage benefits.

Update Mailing Address Online

If you are a railroad annuitant, beneficiary, or claimant, you can use Form COA-1 (Change of Address - internet) on the myRRB Citizen-Centric Online Self-Services (CCOSS) portal to update your mailing address after completing the Login.gov identity verification process. The Railroad Retirement Board will use the information to verify the name and address of each person entitled to receive a benefit payment.

Allow Multiple Annual Address Changes

Railroad retirees who have multiple residences and live temporarily at each for part of the year can request two or more address changes annually through the CCOSS system. This explicitly permits more than one address update per year for such retirees.

Change Direct Deposit Online

If you are a railroad annuitant, beneficiary, or claimant, you can use Form DDC-1 (Direct Deposit Change - internet) on the myRRB CCOSS portal, after completing Login.gov identity verification, to update your direct deposit information. The Railroad Retirement Board will provide the updated information to the U.S. Department of the Treasury to process electronic fund transfers to your financial institution account.
