Lower Saranac Hydro Partners proposes to continue operating the project in run-of-river mode, maintain the impoundment near the South Dam spillway crest elevation of 281.5 feet mean sea level, maintain minimum bypassed reach flows (175 cfs Sep 16–Nov 15; 125 cfs Nov 16–Apr 15; 150 cfs Apr 16–Jun 15; 100 cfs Jun 16–Sep 15) and the fishway flow requirements (48 cfs Apr 16–Jun 15 and Sep 16–Nov 15; 36 cfs other times), and to maintain existing recreation facilities (trails, fishing access, parking and picnic/viewing areas).
