Analyzed Economic Effects

3 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 1 costs, 1 mixed.

20% Open‑Close Data Discount Extended

MIAX Emerald extended a temporary 20% discount on Open-Close Report fees through December 31, 2025. The discount applies to a single ad-hoc purchase order of historical Open-Close Report data that totals $20,000 or more (for example, a $25,000 qualifying order would be reduced to $20,000).

Discount Limited to Existing Subscribers

The 20% discount is only available to existing monthly subscribers who purchase the same category of historical Open-Close Report data for which they hold a monthly Intra‑Day or End‑of‑Day subscription. New purchasers who are not existing subscribers do not qualify for this temporary discount.

Order Rules: No Aggregation or Stacking

The temporary discount is applied on an order-by-order basis and the Exchange will not aggregate purchases across a billing cycle to meet the $20,000 threshold. The discount cannot be combined with any other Exchange discounts, including the Qualifying Academic Purchaser academic discount. The temporary program covers ad-hoc historical End-of-Day and Intra-Day Open-Close requests and is set to expire on December 31, 2025.
