Extra Certification Ports Cost $250/Month
If a Trading Permit Holder or non-TPH obtains more than one Certification Logical Port of a given port type in production, each additional Certification Logical Port costs $250 per month. For example, having 2 extra FIX Certification Logical Ports would add $500 per month.
Certification Fees Only When Port Is Live
If you are a Trading Permit Holder (TPH) or a non-TPH using Cboe C2, certification logical port fees apply only when the same type of logical port exists in the Exchange's production environment. Certification ports for a new port type remain free until that port type is launched in the live production environment.
One Free Certification Port Per Type
Cboe C2 provides one Certification Logical Port free of charge for each logical port type that is available in the production environment. That free entitlement applies to each port type once the port type is offered in production.
Purchasing Certification Ports Is Voluntary
Buying additional Certification Logical Ports is optional and not required to participate in the Exchange's production trading environment. A TPH or non-TPH is not required to buy a production logical port in order to receive a corresponding free Certification Logical Port, and certification ports must be proactively requested and can be cancelled for later months.
