SEC Approves Bitcoin+Ether ETF Listing
On July 29, 2025 the SEC approved listing and trading of the Bitwise Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF on NYSE Arca. You can buy shares of a single fund on a national exchange that holds spot bitcoin and spot ether if you already invest in securities.
One Fund Holds Both Crypto Assets
The Trust will hold both spot bitcoin and spot ether and will allocate its assets approximately according to their relative market capitalizations. As of the filing date, the Trust noted an allocation of 83% bitcoin and 17% ether.
Daily NAV Using CME CF Pricing Benchmarks
The Trust's net asset value (NAV) and NAV per Share will be determined once each exchange trading day as of 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The Trust will value its bitcoin using the CME CF Bitcoin—New York Variant and its ether using the CME CF Ether—Dollar Reference Rate.
Exchange Trading Rules and 15-Second IIV
The Shares are deemed equity securities and will be traded under the Exchange's existing equity rules. The Trust will make certain information available (including NAV on its website) and one or more market data vendors will disseminate an intraday indicative value updated every 15 seconds during the Exchange's core trading session.
Custody and Administration by Named Institutions
Coinbase Custody Trust Company, LLC will maintain custody of the Trust's bitcoin and ether. The Bank of New York Mellon will serve as the custodian for the Trust's cash holdings, the administrator, and the transfer agent.
