Small Boats Allowed Pacific Cod
If you operate a catcher vessel less than 60 feet (18.3 meters) length overall, you can now fish for Pacific cod in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area (BSAI) using hook-and-line or pot gear. This opens directed fishing so the 2025 total allowable catch allocated to these vessels can be fully used.
