24X Exchange Rolls Out New Connection Fees for Traders

Published Date: 9/30/2025

Notice

Summary

Starting September 29, 2025, 24X National Exchange will charge monthly fees for connecting to its trading systems, including both physical and logical connections. This affects anyone who trades or accesses the Exchange’s network, whether they’re members or not. The new fees help cover the costs of keeping the Exchange’s systems running smoothly and securely.

Analyzed Economic Effects

5 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 2 costs, 2 mixed.

Monthly Physical Cross-Connect Fees

If you connect directly to 24X's trading facilities, the Exchange will charge $5,700 per 10 Gigabit physical interface per month for the Primary facility and $2,850 per 10 Gigabit physical interface per month for the Disaster Recovery facility, effective September 29, 2025. These fees apply to both Members and non-Members who use those physical cross-connections.

Monthly Logical Port Session Fee

If you use 24X application sessions (ports) in the Primary facility, the Exchange will charge $500 per port (session) per month, starting September 29, 2025. This fee is charged per session per month to all market participants, including Members and non-Members.

No Test Environment Fee; Lower DR Rate

24X will not charge a fee for connections to its Test Environment and will charge a lower Disaster Recovery cross-connect fee ($2,850 per 10Gb/month) compared with the Primary fee, effective September 29, 2025. The Exchange says this is intended to encourage participants to test and connect to backup systems.

Monthly Billing Assessment Timing

Fees for connectivity services will be assessed based on each active connectivity product at the close of business on the first day of each month; if a product is canceled before that assessment, the participant will not owe that month's fee. This rule is effective September 29, 2025.

Third-Party Connectivity Option

The Exchange notes that Members may connect to 24X through third-party service bureaus or extranets and would not incur the Exchange's direct connectivity fees, though those third parties likely will charge their own fees. This is stated in the filing effective September 29, 2025.
