Mandatory Checks and Replacements for 757s

If you fly on or work with Boeing Model 757-200, -200PF, or -200CB airplanes, the FAA now requires a records check or inspection to see if an affected main landing gear (MLG) outer cylinder is installed, and requires replacing all affected outer cylinders. The rule applies to all Boeing 757-200 series airplanes listed and is intended to address possible heat damage from improper grinding of the MLG outer cylinders.
