FAA Accepts AVSS Compliance Method

If you operate small drones in Category 2 or Category 3 over people, the FAA now accepts Aerial Vehicle Safety Solutions Inc.'s “Means of Compliance” (revision 6, dated January 7, 2025) as an acceptable way to show your drone meets safety rules. The FAA also says this is an acceptable method but not the only way to comply, giving operators an official, clear option to follow the rules.
