Leaf River Energy Center applied to increase natural gas working storage at the New Home Salt Dome in Smith, Jasper, and Clarke Counties, Mississippi by 17.62 billion cubic feet (Bcf). The application describes adding a new Cavern Well #5 with 12.52 Bcf, increasing Caverns #2 and #4 by 2.55 Bcf each, building pipeline headers and lines, and installing new compressors (27,010 hp and 6,130 hp).
