Small hydropower generation added in Chignik
A proposed powerhouse on Indian Creek would include one impulse-type turbine with a rated generating capacity of 220 kilowatts (kW) and a peak capacity of about 250 kW as part of the Chignik Hydropower Project. The project also includes a 15-foot-high dam and an approximately 8,400-foot-long, 12-inch-diameter penstock.
