Fee Increased for Inflation
CBP increased the customs broker permit user fee for 2026 to $185.38 due to inflation adjustments required by the FAST Act (Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act). The change was announced in CBP Decision 25-10 on July 23, 2025.
How and Where To Pay
Customs brokers may pay the 2026 fee electronically through the eCBP portal at https://e.cbp.dhs.gov/brokers/#/home or submit payment at the processing center. First-time eCBP users must create a Login.gov account, and CBP encourages electronic payment.
