Must Revise Maintenance Manuals Quickly
If you own or operate an Airbus Helicopters Model SA330J, the FAA proposes you must revise the airworthiness limitations section of your maintenance manual (or instructions for continued airworthiness) and your approved maintenance or inspection program to incorporate the new or more restrictive ALS specified in EASA AD 2025-0127. The FAA requires this revision within 30 days after the effective date of this AD and would replace AD 2025-05-09.
Compliance Deadline Shortened to 30 Days
The FAA requires revising the approved maintenance program within 30 days after the effective date of this AD rather than the 12 months allowed by EASA AD 2025-0127. The AD also states the initial compliance time for tasks is on or before the applicable limitations and associated thresholds as incorporated, or within 30 days after the effective date, whichever occurs later.
