Woven water basket to be returned

Who may request repatriation

Any lineal descendant, Indian Tribe, or Native Hawaiian organization not identified in the notice may submit a written request for repatriation to Hugh Radde at the University of California, Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA 93106) or by the email address listed in the notice. Requestors must show by a preponderance of the evidence that they are a lineal descendant or culturally affiliated; repatriation to an accepted requestor may occur on or after January 16, 2026.
