ADAP Data Collection Continues
If you are a low-income person with HIV who has limited or no health coverage, HRSA will continue collecting the ADAP Data Report that tracks access to FDA-approved HIV medicines across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and five U.S. Pacific Territories. HRSA says it is not proposing changes to the collection and does not anticipate added reporting costs, and it will use the data to monitor program funds, services, and health outcomes toward ending the HIV epidemic.
Client Data Collected De-Identified
The ADAP Client Report will continue to collect de-identified client-level records that include an encrypted unique identifier, basic demographic data, enrollment and certification information, details on medication or health care coverage assistance (including associated costs), and HIV clinical information. HRSA uses these de-identified records to evaluate services and costs while keeping individual identities encrypted.
