You can attend—register online first

You may attend the National Assessment Governing Board meetings in person or virtually. If you plan to join virtually, you must register in advance; a registration link will be posted on www.nagb.gov no later than five (5) business days prior to each meeting.

Meeting agendas posted five days early

Meeting agendas and materials for standing committee meetings will be posted on www.nagb.gov no later than five (5) business days prior to each meeting. You can review those materials before the meeting to prepare comments or attendance.

Submit written comments five days early

You may submit written comments about Governing Board business by emailing the Designated Federal Officer or sending a hard copy. Written comments should be submitted no later than close of business five (5) days prior to each meeting and should reference the relevant agenda item.

Request accommodations by Feb 26, 2026

The meeting location is accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you need an auxiliary aid or service (for example, interpreting or materials in an alternate format), notify the Designated Federal Officer by close of business on February 26, 2026.

Transcripts posted within 30 days

Official verbatim transcripts of the open meeting sessions will be available for public inspection and posted on the Governing Board's website no later than 30 calendar days following each meeting. You may request the verbatim transcriptions via email to the Designated Federal Officer.

Some sessions closed—limited public access

Several committee and Board sessions will be closed to the public (for example, Nominations on February 10; portions of Executive, Standards, Reporting, and the March 5–6 plenary) because they involve confidential personnel matters, budget/procurement information, or unreleased assessment content. Those closed sessions are protected under specified exemptions to the Government Sunshine Act.
