Product Cancellation Order for Certain Pesticide Registrations (From July 31, 2025, Notice)

Published Date: 2/10/2026

Notice

Summary

The EPA is officially canceling certain pesticide products starting February 10, 2026, after the companies asked to stop their registrations. This means those pesticides can no longer be sold or used unless they follow special rules for existing stock. Farmers, pesticide sellers, and anyone using these products should get ready for these changes to avoid surprises and possible money loss.

Analyzed Economic Effects

6 provisions identified: 4 benefits, 2 costs, 0 mixed.

Multiple Pesticide Registrations Canceled

The EPA canceled the pesticide product registrations listed in Table 1 and Table 1A, effective February 10, 2026. After that date, those canceled products cannot be sold or used except as allowed under the order's existing stocks provisions in Unit VI.

One-Year Sell-Through for Table 1 Products

For the products listed in Table 1, registrants may continue to sell and distribute existing stocks until February 10, 2027 (one year after the cancellation order). After February 10, 2027, registrants may no longer sell or distribute those products except for export or proper disposal.

Eighteen-Month Sell-Through for Table 1A Products

For the products listed in Table 1A, registrants requested and may sell and distribute existing stocks until August 10, 2027 (18 months after the cancellation order). After August 10, 2027, registrants may no longer sell or distribute those products except for export or proper disposal.

Noncompliance With Stock Rules Is a FIFRA Violation

Any distribution, sale, or use of the canceled products that is inconsistent with the existing stocks provisions in Unit VI will be a violation of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). Violating these terms could subject sellers or users to enforcement under FIFRA.

Buyers and Users Can Use Existing Stocks Until Exhausted

Persons other than the registrant (for example, retailers, farmers, and other users) may sell, distribute, or use existing stocks of the canceled products until those stocks are exhausted, provided such sale, distribution, or use is consistent with the previously approved labeling. This allowance continues only while existing stocks remain.

Some Cancellation Requests Were Withdrawn

The registrant requests to cancel registrations 70060-12, 70060-13, and 70060-32 were withdrawn, and those products were removed from this cancellation order. Those specific registrations remain in effect.
