Confidential Peer Support for USPIS Staff
If you are an eligible U.S. Postal Inspector, Postal Police Officer, USPIS employee, selected contractor, or professional staff, you may voluntarily participate in a confidential USPIS Peer Support Program beginning March 23, 2026. The program uses trained volunteer peer counselors, integrates with Employee Assistance Programs, and offers confidential one-on-one support across divisions and shifts.
New Records Collection, Storage, and Access Rules
The new system will collect and store participant and program records (for example: name, user ID, email, phone/SMS, employee ID, session ID, IP address, user agent, and mobile push notification token) in a supplier cloud computing environment. Records are retrievable by personal identifiers (first/last name, display name, email, phone) and are maintained while participants are actively enrolled; access and contesting follow USPS Privacy Act procedures (including 39 CFR 266.5).
