Nonprofits Assigned DMDC Contact Center

Chimes District of Columbia (Washington, DC) and InspiriTec, Inc. (Philadelphia, PA) were approved on February 17, 2026 to be authorized sources to operate the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) Customer Contact Center 2 (CCC2) for GSA PBS Region 3 at Fort Knox, KY. If the Committee’s change is implemented, these nonprofit agencies will be required to furnish that contact-center service to the Federal Government.

Small Businesses Face No New Burdens

The Committee certified that this action "will not have a significant impact on any small entities" and that it "did not result in any additional reporting, recordkeeping, or other compliance requirements for small entities other than the nonprofit agencies furnishing the services."

DMDC Contact Center Upgrades With AI and Cloud

The contractor will operate the DMDC contact center within DMDC’s modernized, cloud-native contact center on AWS and will leverage AI-powered tools and expanded communication channels to achieve efficiencies and an enhanced customer experience. The work includes providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, program management, and adapting to changing requirements.
