Bitcoin ETF Options Trade During GTH
If you trade options on the Cboe Bitcoin U.S. ETF Index (CBTX) or the Cboe Mini Bitcoin U.S. ETF Index (MBTX), those options can now trade during Global Trading Hours (GTH) in addition to Regular Trading Hours. GTH on the Exchange runs from 8:15 p.m. (previous day) to 9:25 a.m. Monday through Friday, allowing investors to manage Bitcoin exposure outside U.S. regular hours.
TPHs Get Equal GTH Trading Opportunity
Trading Permit Holders (TPHs) on Cboe will all have the ability to trade CBTX and MBTX options during Global Trading Hours on the same terms as other GTH products. The Exchange states the change applies equally to all TPHs and does not favor any particular category of market participant.
