Veteran Small Business Leaders Can Join ACVBA
The SBA is seeking owners, operators, and officers of veteran-owned small businesses and representatives of veteran service organizations to be appointed to the Advisory Committee on Veterans Business Affairs (ACVBA). Appointees are chosen by the SBA Administrator and serve terms of no longer than three years and serve without compensation.
Travel Costs Reimbursed for ACVBA Members
ACVBA members serve without pay but will be reimbursed for authorized travel-related expenses at per diem rates established by the General Services Administration (GSA) when asked to perform official duties as a committee member.
Nominations Open Anytime; Submission Rules
Nominations are accepted on a rolling basis and should be emailed to ACVBA@sba.gov with the subject line 'ACVBA Nomination.' Submissions must include a resume with contact information and a chronological summary of experience and qualifications, plus a current biography.
