TUV SÜD Seeks Japan Test Site Recognition
If you make or use workplace equipment, OSHA says T[Uuml]V S[Uuml]D America applied to expand its Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) scope by adding one test site at T[Uuml]V S[Uuml]D Japan Ltd, 4149-7, 5-Chome, #06-01, Hachimanpara, Yonezawa, 992-1128 Yamagata, Japan. OSHA staff inspected the Yonezawa site on April 10-11, 2025, found some nonconformances that TUVAM has addressed, and has preliminarily determined to grant the expansion; public comments are due April 29, 2026. Recognition lets employers use products approved by the NRTL to meet OSHA standards that require product testing and certification under 29 CFR 1910.7.
