Starting July 12, 2026, single‑piece First‑Class Mail International prices (postcards, letters, and flats) rise by about 2.7%. A single‑piece postcard will cost $1.75 worldwide, the First‑Class Mail International letter nonmachinable surcharge stays $0.49, and the rule lists new letter and flat prices by weight and price group.

Higher Fees for Intl. Extra Services

The Postal Service plans higher prices for several international extra services effective July 12, 2026. Listed fees include Certificate of Mailing individual article $2.55 (firm mailing sheet per piece $0.75, first 1,000 bulk pieces $14.25, each additional 1,000 $1.80), Registered Mail fee $25.00, Return Receipt fee $7.20, and International Business Reply Service cards $2.65 and envelopes up to 2 ounces $3.30.

Proposed Removal of Customs Clearance Fee

The Postal Service proposes to eliminate the Customs Clearance and Delivery Fee for Inbound Letter Post letters and flats, effective with the July 12, 2026 price changes. The proposal notes that dutiable items should not be placed in UPU small (P) or large (G) letter formats, which removes the need for this fee for those inbound letter and flat formats.
