NRC Form 314 Filing Requirement
If you hold a Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license to possess or use radioactive materials and you want to terminate that license, you must submit NRC Form 314, the Certificate of Disposition of Materials. The renewal keeps the existing requirement in place with an estimated 110 annual responses, about 0.5 hour per response (55 hours total per year), and OMB approval number 3150-0028; the NRC is accepting comments through May 21, 2026.
