Public Zoom Meetings on AI and Voting
The Maryland Advisory Committee will hold three public virtual meetings via Zoom on May 27, 2026; July 1, 2026; and July 29, 2026, each at 11:00 a.m. Eastern. Anyone can join the meetings through the provided Zoom registration links or by phone to listen and follow the committee's planning on artificial intelligence in voting.
Speak or Submit Written Comments
Members of the public may make statements during an open comment period at the meetings and may submit written comments that must be received in the regional office within 30 days following each scheduled meeting. Written comments may be emailed to Evelyn Bohor at Evelyn.Bohor@usccr.gov.
Closed Captioning and Accommodations
Closed captioning is available in the Zoom meetings by selecting 'CC', and additional accommodations can be requested by emailing [email protected] at least 10 business days before each meeting. These options help people with disabilities or communication needs participate in the meetings.
Phone Participation May Incur Charges
You can join the meetings by phone using the toll-free number 1-833-435-1820, but callers who use wireless lines may incur regular wireless charges and the Commission will not refund those charges. Callers using land-line connections to the toll-free number will incur no charge.
Meeting Records and Attendee List Public
Public minutes of the meetings will include a list of persons who are present, and records generated from the meetings will be available for inspection and reproduction via the Commission file-sharing link (https://tinyurl.com/mnshz8n9) and at www.facadatabase.gov. Records will be available before and after the meetings as they become available.
