If you make or import adult portable bed rails (covered by 16 CFR part 1270, which incorporates ASTM F3186-17), you must continue to provide required labels, warnings, and instructional literature. CPSC estimates 12 known suppliers, an average of 6 models per supplier, 8 hours per model for labeling and 24 hours per model for instructional materials, for a total annual burden of 2,304 hours and an estimated industry cost of $96,837. The Office of Management and Budget control number is 3041-0192 and OMB's current approval expires August 31, 2026.
