WRP connects students with employers

If you are a college student or recent graduate with a disability (including veterans), you can apply to join the Workforce Recruitment Program's resume talent database so Federal and private employers can find you for internships or jobs. Candidates are not placed into jobs; employers contact you directly if they want to interview or hire you. You can also join career development activities and receive notices about hiring fairs and federal opportunities.

Information collection burden on respondents

The Department of Labor estimates this information collection will involve 3,100 respondents and 3,100 responses, with a total estimated annual time burden of 2,600 hours and total estimated annual other costs of $0. The agency seeks OMB approval under OMB Control Number 1230-0017 for three (3) years and will consider public comments received on or before June 1, 2026.

Employers can search WRP resumes

Federal employers can access the WRP resume database directly, and private-sector employers can access it through a contractor, so employers nationwide can find college students and recent graduates with disabilities for hiring or interviews. Employers who are interested will reach out to candidates directly for specific positions.
