Nonprofits in 3 SC Counties Can Apply

If you run a private non-profit that provides essential governmental services in Greenville, Oconee, or Pickens counties, you may apply for SBA disaster loans for damage or economic loss from the January 21–27, 2026 winter storm. Apply online at the MySBA Loan Portal; physical damage loan applications are due June 10, 2026, and economic injury (EIDL) loan applications are due January 7, 2027.

Low 3.625% Interest Rate for Nonprofits

The SBA set the interest rate for both physical damage loans and economic injury loans for private non-profit organizations at 3.625%, whether or not credit is available elsewhere. This 3.625% rate applies to loans tied to this disaster declaration.

Eligibility Limited to Certain Nonprofits

Only private non-profit organizations that provide essential services of a governmental nature in the areas determined adversely affected by the disaster (Greenville, Oconee, Pickens counties) are identified as able to file disaster loan applications under this declaration.
