Physical-Damage Loans for Nonprofits

If you run a private non-profit that provides essential governmental services in the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii, or Maui, you may apply for SBA disaster loans for physical damage from the severe storms and mudslides that occurred March 10 through March 24, 2026. Physical damage loan applications must be submitted by June 15, 2026 using the MySBA Loan Portal or locally announced locations.

Economic Injury (EIDL) Loans Available

Private non-profit organizations providing essential governmental services in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Maui may apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) related to the March 10–24, 2026 disaster. Economic injury loan applications must be submitted by January 7, 2027 via the MySBA Loan Portal.

Low 3.625% Interest Rate Applied

The interest rate for eligible private non-profit organizations for both physical damage and economic injury disaster loans is 3.625 percent. This 3.625% rate applies whether or not the non-profit has credit available elsewhere, as listed in the declaration.
