Mandatory Forms to Work Near Green Sturgeon

If you run a business, non‑profit, tribal, state, or federal program, or conduct research that might harm Southern green sturgeon, you must submit information to qualify for exceptions or exemptions from the ESA take prohibitions. NOAA estimates 58 respondents, a total annual burden of 1,760 hours, per‑response times of 40 hours (written notifications and some plan development), 20 hours (Tribal Fishery Management Plan), or 5 hours (reports), and an estimated total annual cost to the public of $200. Comments on renewing this collection are due on or before July 6, 2026, and you may submit forms electronically or by mail or fax.
