Notice

Summary

The U.S. Department of Commerce fixed a mistake in its 2023 review of countervailing duties on aluminum sheets from Türkiye. They corrected which companies are linked to certain subsidy rates, swapping one company name and adding a missing note about another. These changes clarify who owes what and keep trade rules fair, with no new money or deadline changes.

3 provisions identified: 1 benefits, 1 costs, 1 mixed.

Subsidy Rate Reassigned to Kibar Holding

Commerce corrected its April 9, 2026 final results so that the subsidy rate referenced in footnote 9 now applies to Kibar Holding A.S. rather than Kibar Americas, Inc.; this correction was published in the Federal Register on May 4, 2026. The change alters which named company is listed as subject to the rate in the administrative-review document.

Rate Now Explicit for Teknik and TAC Metal

The Final Results section rate table was corrected to add a footnote stating: "This rate is applicable to Teknik Aluminyum Sanayi A.S. and its cross-owned company TAC Metal Ticaret A.S." This correction appears in the May 4, 2026 Federal Register notice.

No New Money or Deadline Changes

The Department of Commerce stated these corrections clarify which companies the subsidy rates apply to but do not impose any new money obligations or change any deadlines. The correction notice was published in the Federal Register on May 4, 2026.
