Summary

The Treasury’s Bureau of the Fiscal Service is cutting out old, unnecessary rules to make life simpler for everyone who deals with federal financial regulations. Starting July 6, 2026, some outdated rules in title 31 will be gone, saving time and hassle without costing extra money. If anyone has big concerns, they can speak up by June 5, 2026, before the changes kick in.
