The EPA just said it’s okay to use a special chemical called oxirane, 2-phenyl-, polymer with oxirane, mono(hydrogen 2-sulfobutanedioate), octyl ether, sodium salt (1:2) in pesticides without worrying about setting a residue limit on food. This means farmers, food makers, and pesticide companies can keep using it safely starting May 13, 2026, with no extra testing costs. If anyone disagrees, they have until July 13, 2026, to speak up.
