The Coast Guard is setting up a temporary no-go zone in Prospect Bay near Kent Island, Maryland, on June 6, 2026, for a thrilling power boat race. If bad weather hits, the race and restrictions move to June 7. Boats and people can’t enter the race area unless they get special permission, keeping everyone safe during the event.
