Review Rescinded — No Duty Changes

The Department of Commerce canceled the administrative review of antidumping duties on certain quartz surface products from China for the period July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 because there were no imports during that time. That means there are no changes to antidumping duties or extra costs for importers such as Karinastone for that review period. The rescission is effective May 14, 2026.

Cash Deposit Rules Remain in Effect

Commerce stated that current cash deposit requirements will remain in effect until further notice and that antidumping duties will be assessed at the cash deposit rate that applied at the time of entry. Commerce intends to issue assessment instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection no earlier than 35 days after the rescission notice was published (publication date May 14, 2026).
