Clearlake Road widened to four lanes
The project will widen a 1.1-mile segment of State Road 501 (S.R. 501) in Cocoa, Brevard County, Florida from Michigan Avenue to Industry Road, changing the existing two-lane roadway to a four-lane divided urban roadway and replacing a 90-degree curve with a roundabout.
New shared-use paths for pedestrians and bikes
The project will provide continuous shared-use paths on both sides of S.R. 501 along the 1.1-mile project corridor in Cocoa, Florida, adding dedicated space for pedestrians and bicyclists.
Deadline to legally challenge project
A claim seeking judicial review of the Federal agency actions on this highway project must be filed on or before October 13, 2026, or it will be barred; if the authorizing Federal law provides a shorter filing period than 150 days, that shorter period applies instead.
