If you plan to boat near Miami Beach, the Coast Guard will close a portion of the Atlantic Ocean for the Miami Beach Air and Sea Show daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 22, 2026 through May 24, 2026. Only the event sponsor, designated participants, and official patrol vessels may enter the regulated area unless the Coast Guard Patrol Commander or a designated representative gives permission.
Spectator boats must stay outside regulated area
If you are on a spectator vessel, you may safely pass outside the regulated area but you may not anchor, block, loiter, or impede the transit of festival participants or official patrol vessels. You cannot enter the regulated area without Coast Guard approval and may be turned away if you try.
No fees or charges associated with enforcement
The notice indicates the enforcement action is for safety and does not impose fees or charges related to entering the regulated area during the event period. The action is limited to safety enforcement during May 22–24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
