Victoria Added to Disaster Area

The SBA amended the disaster declaration to add Victoria County and the contiguous Texas counties Calhoun, Dewitt, Goliad, Jackson, Lavaca, and Refugio as adversely affected by the severe storms and tornadoes that occurred April 24, 2026 through May 1, 2026. This means businesses and residents in those named counties can apply for SBA disaster assistance loans under this declaration.

EIDL Application Deadline Extended

Businesses in the declared disaster area may apply for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL); the deadline for EIDL applications under this declaration is February 8, 2027. Use the MySBA Loan Portal at https://lending.sba.gov to apply before that date.

Physical Damage Loan Deadline

If you suffered physical damage from the disaster, you can apply for SBA physical disaster loans through the MySBA portal; the deadline to submit physical damage loan applications is July 6, 2026. Missing that date means you cannot apply for physical disaster loan assistance under this declaration.

Incident Period Defined for Eligibility

The disaster incident period for eligibility under this declaration is April 24, 2026 through May 1, 2026. Only damage or economic injury attributable to events during those dates is covered under this declaration.
